Terms and Conditions
Admin notice: this policy is marked as requiring legal review before it is relied upon. Visible to administrators only.
These terms
These terms govern your use of the Alyvon website, learning platform, assessments and certification services. By creating an account, enrolling on a course or purchasing training, you agree to them.

Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, except that an organisation may administer accounts it has created for its staff.

Enrolment and access
Access to a paid course begins when payment is confirmed, unless an administrator grants authorised access. Access to a course continues for twelve months from enrolment unless stated otherwise on the course page or agreed in writing with a sponsoring organisation.

Fees and payment
Course, programme and corporate enrolment fees are shown in Nigerian Naira. Payment may be made online or by bank transfer to an Alyvon account. A numbered invoice is issued on completion of checkout. Where a payment is not confirmed, access to paid learning may be suspended.

Assessments
Examinations are timed and submitted automatically when time expires. Objective questions are auto-graded; theory questions are graded by an authorised assessor. Attempt limits, pass thresholds and result release rules are configured per course and shown on the course page.

Safety-critical courses
Courses classified as safety-critical require a full score for certification. Attempt limits and mandatory review between attempts apply as stated on the course page.

Certificates
A certificate is issued when the configured academic and payment requirements have been met. Certificates carry a unique number and can be verified publicly. Alyvon may revoke or correct a certificate where it was issued in error, where the assessment was not completed in accordance with these terms, or where required to do so by law or a regulator.

Academic integrity
Learners must complete assessments honestly. Impersonation, collusion, unauthorised assistance and misuse of assessment content are breaches of these terms and may result in a voided result, revoked certificate and suspension of the account.

Course materials, assessments, question banks, software and branding are owned by Alyvon or by its instructors and licensors. You may use them for your own learning. You may not copy, resell, publish or distribute them without written permission.

Instructor terms
Instructors retain rights in the content they create and grant Alyvon a licence to host and deliver it to enrolled learners. Commercial arrangements are recorded separately and are configurable by administrators. Content may be reviewed and approved before publication.
